So it has been a cool 100+ so far this week.... ugh. Mom is on Jury duty in Alameda (where it is "slightly" cooler) for the rest of the week and into next week. Dad's first week of retirement has had him and Cody doing "guy" stuff.... they have hit Mc Donalds, In-n-Out Burger, the park and tomorrow has them headed to Great America... not sure who is enjoying retirement more.
Jason, Cody and I spent the 4th down at Bass Lake, which is right outside of Yosemite. And I am happy to say I had my FIRST trip to Yosemite (at 34 years of age) and it was just amazing...

Yosemite is a magical place, I am so glad that you got to see it. I am sure that you will go again. How is transportation inside the park handled now? I had read that no private cars were allowed. Post your pictures!!! It has been absolutely lovely here. Low humidity, temps in the 80's. We have just been lazing around.
